The Rescue is one of the busiest pieces of apparatus in Branford with over 500 calls per year. We respond on all Motor Vehicle Accidents, Box Assignments, R.I.T calls,Water Emergencies and, all Specialized Rescue runs within the Town of Branford. Being this versatile our members are provided with some of the best training in the area ranging from R.I.T to Cold Water Rescue.

Types of Operations the Rescue is configured for:

Cold Water\Ice Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Dive Rescue\Recovery, Low Angle Rope Rescue, Hazardous Materials (Operational Level), Rapid Intervention Team Operations, Structure Fire Assignments, SCBA Refilling (Cascade System), Vehicle and Machinery Extrication

Our members are from all walks of like but share the same common passion, which is to serve our community in the best way we know how to. I can speak for all our members when I say, we love what we do and were going to keep on doing it."
